Dural and Round Corner are located adjacent to each other about 10 minutes from Castle Hill. Round Corner is a small suburb and is essentially considered synonymous with Dural. as Dural Mall is located there as well as a number of other facilities such as Dural Baptist Church and Dural Sports Centre.

Dural / Round Corner are semi rural suburbs within The Hills with the average allotments being 5 acres. Horses, cows, sheep and goats are certainly prevalent and nurseries are also prominent in the area. Although not everyone is into farming, large blocks with large executive houses are also common.

Shopping facilities in Dural are provided at three main locations spread out within the area. These shopping facilities are not only efficient for providing residents with their every day needs but also serve the surrounding areas by providing electrical goods, fast food outlets, antique, horse and lawn equipment.

Dural is considered very attractive as it allows residents to have a peaceful rural lifestyle yet still be in close proximity to busy suburban areas such as Castle Hill (home of Castle Towers Shopping Centre) and Pennant Hills (train station). Sydney City is also accessible within 30-45 minutes.

The Dural Area is further considered appealing as it, is home to a number of private, religious and public schools and has a picturesque quality about it made up by a combination of trees, views and hills.
